The trophy system is one of the best equipment in the game. It deflects all enemy explosives including grenades, flash, stuns, rpg rockets and even predator missiles. Only the emp grenade will not be deflected.
I recommend using the trophy system on headquarters to defend the HQ since we all know it’s nadefest. BONUS: Equip riotshield and trophy system for near invincibility.
Extended mags on shotguns technically doesn’t increase damage but it gives a similar effect by increasing the # of pellets per shot. Pellets increase by 50% so a shotgun with 8 pellets would increase to 12.
If it’s too difficult to understand, just pretend it gives you stopping power (from previous CoD games) because it gives the same effect.

Extended mags not only increases mag size but it also increases overall ammo. Now you can free up your Tier 1 perk slot for something more useful like Sleight of Hand or Extreme Conditioning.
Sitrep pro even during it’s MW2 days were always your last pro perk to be unlocked due to it’s difficult but with this trick, it’s now a breeze in MW3.
